I try to paint one painting each day! I was born in New Jersey and have lived throughout the United States. I spent many years in Arizona, attending the University of Arizona and working where I developed an appreciation for the power and beauty of the desert Southwest. I have studied art for a number of years and enjoy working in acrylic and oil.

 

I worked for years for Borders Books in a number of capacities and have recently left. I am a member of the Michigan Plein Air Painters club and paint with them every Saturday morning in Kensington Metro Park in Milford, Michigan. We paint regardless of the temperature or the weather; a real challenge in the winter. The club was founded by Heiner Hertling (Your Brush With Nature TV show). I belong to the Ann Arbor Women's Artists group who also accept "a few good men". 

 

I work out of a studio in my home.
